Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie was the first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. From a very young time, she was a huge sports enthusiast and enjoyed doing exercises. She won many medals in school competitions. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as at 2021). Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie started CrossFit back in California. Annie was able to do well during the first few games. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. She did not take home a title and finished the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen coached her to an overall second place in CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. The following year she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She was the first woman to be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 helped her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she had won consecutively. A silver medal was won in 2014; and in 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. In the last few years, as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many other. Furthermore, she runs her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" which has over a thousand viewers. These are her travel videos and training diet videos.
